The inspiration to initiate Marina Apartments comes through the desire to close the yawning gap of lack of high luxury ‘home away from home’ accommodation different from hotel settings in the state capital for discerning clientele requiring privacy, security, luxury, all rolled into one.

Considering the historic importance of Sokoto, we as indigenes, have continued to receive enquiries from members of the Diplomatic Community, Multi-lateral Organizations, Nigerians in Diaspora, Chief Executives of Financial institutions and other friends desiring to visit the historic sites of the Sokoto Caliphate, including the ‘Hubbare’, The Sultan’s Palace, The Sokoto History Bureau and the famous Sokoto Leather Works and others. The issue of availability of ‘appropriate’ private and secure accommodation had however always been a hindrance.
